Our team is practical and results-driven, actively making new housing happen in Cornwall. We have many years experience: by coming together, we are making great things happen.

Simon Ryan

General Manager

20 years direct experience in the creation, management and funding of community organisations in Cornwall. Over the last 10 years, Simon has managed purchase/refurb of 7 buildings for community use and raised over £8 million.

Mandy Warren

Operations Manager

Mandy worked for many years as a high-level organiser, with experience of HR and Account Management for large multinationals. She has a full range of office/admin/finance skills and will run our core operational functions.

Jeremy Dain

Architect

Residential projects - new-build and refurbishment - including Passivhaus and Passivhaus+ dwellings, small-scale (up to 10 units) housing for private developers and co-housing groups, work on Grade II and II* listed buildings.

Mat Farrow

Mat Farrow - Heritage Building Consultant

Mat has been renovating old properties in SE Cornwall since 2008. He has an unrivalled grasp of the realities of building work and its challenges and was the main contractor on the Coastguard Cottages project in Cawsand.

Peter Moore

Chair

Peter retired as CEO from Cornwall Rural Housing Association (CRHA) in 2021 having joined the organisation in 1993 as its first full time employee. During that time CRHA developed affordable homes to meet the needs of rural communities throughout Cornwall and on the Isles of Scilly and helped a number of local community land trusts to develop their own solutions to meet housing needs.

Peter Warm

Energy Consultant

Specialist in Buildings Energy use, now retired. Peter was the first Passivhaus Certifer in the UK after BRE and is a recognised expert across the UK.

Tim Walmsley

Company Secretary

Tim is a Legal Housing Advisor and a partner at Stephens Scown’s Social Housing Team with experience of the acquisition, development and financing of land and buildings for use as affordable dwellings.

Lynda Powell

Trustee

Lynda grew up in Polperro. Her background is in management and administration of public/charity organisations, including managing museums and heritage centres. She is now the Clerk at Looe Town Council. Lynda brings us a wide range of organisational skills and a strong commitment to local democracy and control of assets.
